Every Contestant on The Luck Show hopes to play and win all seven games of chance on the road to one million dollars! Maximize your chances at winning by learning a bit more about the traditional rules for each of these games.
Blackjack
One hand against the dealer. Player will receive two cards face down and the dealer will receive two cards, one up and one down. The player must play first by taking cards, trying to get as close to 21 as possible with out going over 21. If player goes over (bust) they lose, and the player can stop at any time. Once the player has finished, the dealer plays and tries to beat the players hand. Traditionally, the dealer must hit on 16 or below and stand on 17 or above.
5-Card Draw
One hand against the dealer. Player is dealt 5 cards face down, and may then exchange up to 3 cards for new cards. The best hand wins. Hand values in decending order (ie. a Royal Flush beats everything):
Royal Flush - All cards of same suit, 10 and higher only. Rank in sequence.
Straight Flush - All cards of same suit. Rank in sequence.
Four of a Kind - Four cards with the same rank.
Full House - Three cards of one rank, and two cards of a second rank.
Flush - All cards of same suit.
Straight - All card with ranks in sequence. (ex. 4-5-6-7-8)
Three of a Kind - Three cards with the same rank.
Two Pair - A pair is two cards of the same rank. Two pair is two sets of cards of the same rank.
One Pair - A pair is two cards of the same rank.
High Card - When no other poker hand can be formed, the highest card in your hand is the "high card"
Craps
The player chooses 2 dice, then rolls. 7 or 11 wins on the first roll, 2, 3, or 12 crap out and lose. Any other number rolled sets the Mark, and the player must continue rolling until they roll the Mark number again (win) or they roll 7 (lose).
In-Between
Player is dealt 2 cards, face up. Player must determine if next card drawn will fall in-between those 2 cards.
Roulette
Players place their chips on the number of their choice, and the ball is spun on the roulette wheel to determine the winner. Alternatively, the player may choose black, red, odd, even, and a number of different number ranges.
Luck Wheel
Player will choose one out of four suits and the wheel is spun. If the wheel lands on chosen suit, player wins.
Slot Machines
Players put their wager in the slot of the machine, then pull the handle or press the button to spin the reels. Various combinations of matching images win different amounts of money.
